Cairngorm Mountain this weekend?

November 22nd, 2013

There are some days I envy Ewan working outside but this was not one of them!  Really cold northerly winds with heavy sleeting showers which as the day went on all merged into one.  The weather has at last calmed down, and there is lots of snow on the hill.   If it stays like this for the weekend I think Cairngorm Mountain could be good.

First proper frost last night down to at least -5, so can not escape the fact any longer – its winter!  But at least with a frost you get a morning like this, absolutely  fantastic.

Fantastic, we now have Wifi in both the cottages as well as Bail nan Cnoc

A big thanks to  Badenoch Broadband, which is a community run project bringing broadband to Laggan, so much better than the service we got from BT.
