Pink Sky in the Morning Shepherds Warning!

Sunrise over the Dalwhinnie hills

Spectacular sky this morning pinks and oranges lighting up the whole sky.  Hope the saying is wrong and its not a sign for the weather to deteriorate later in the day!

Forget how many days till Christmas!

Sun just touching the Spey and the hill. Looking at a cold Cluny's monument

Forget about how many days until Christmas, there is only 17 days until the shortest day on the 21st of December! Then the days start getting longer and that is a very nice thought.

The photo was taken this morning at sunrise  from the banks looking over Gaskbeg and the Spey to Cluny’s Monument.

Gathering Sheep

Gaskbeg Sheep Dogs in the back of the Pick up raring to go gathering sheep.

Meet the Gaskbeg sheep dogs, Dan, Spock, Hank and Jim all desperate to get out the back of the pick up and start looking for ewes.  Started from the Cluny side – east of Gaskbeg – what a beautiful day
