In relation to the booking of the self catering properties; Allt na Criche, and Allt Bronach.
PAYMENT:
A deposit of £100 of the rent should be paid on booking, with the balance due 6 weeks before the holiday start date. The balance and deposit should be paid together if the booking occurs within 6 weeks of the start date.
No provisional, verbal or “advance “ booking will be regarded as final until this deposit has been received. Once a booking has been made and accepted a legally binding contract is entered into and the tenant will be liable for payment of the full amount of rent.
Contract:
When you submit a booking via our online reservation system you will receive an automatically generated booking summary by email to the email address you provide in the booking form. This does not form a contract between us. A contract shall only arise when your booking is subsequently confirmed in writing via a letter of confirmation sent to you by post or email.

CANCELLATION:
Insurance is recommended. Once you have made a booking, and we have accepted it and either your deposit (or the full amount when your booking is made less than 6 weeks before your arrival) has been paid, a legally binding contract exists between us. If you have to cancel your booking, for any reason, you are liable for the full amount of rent. If, however, we are able to re-let the cottage, we will refund to you any monies that you have paid less 10% plus any special advertising monies or agency fees that we have incurred re-letting the cottage.
We strongly recommend that you protect yourself against unforeseen events by taking out cancellation insurance.
CONDITIONS:
The rent will include the use of the property and all contents. The tenant agrees to keep the property and all fitments, furniture, equipment, and other contents in or on the property in a like state of repair and condition, other than fair wear and tear, as the commencement of letting, and will inform and will pay for loss, damage of breakage that may occur during the period of let. The tenant undertakes to leave the property and all utensils and equipment in a clean and tidy condition at the conclusion of the period of let.
No Pets.

The booking is made on the understanding that the property is situated within a working farm, with livestock present and machinery in operation. (If you have any questions please talk to the owners Ewan and Lucy Grant)
No subletting will be allowed, and numbers must not exceed the numbers agreed.
The booking is made on the understanding that the property is available to the tenant on the dates agreed. If for any reason beyond the owners’ control (e.g. fire damage etc.) the property is not available on the date booked, all monies paid to the tenant shall be returned in full, but the tenant shall have no further claim against the owners.
